Thursday, January 14 Palaver Records will be celebrating their 3rd anniversary of Palaver Thursday shows at foorBAR, fooBAR Too & The East Room. The events will feature the Beech Benders, the Burps, Step Sisters, Yankee Blood, Waterfall Wash, Darnell Boys, Twiggs, Penicillin Baby, Kim Logan, Allen Thompson, Soft Crush, the Blue Velvets, the Gills, Daddy Issues, Red Mouth, the Jag, Tesla Rossa, Tetherball, and the Breathe In, Breathe Out. April 12: Purpose to Pour

Purpose to Pour

The Beech Benders and Waterfall Wash will be playing at the 2nd Annual Purpose to Pour, on Sunday April 12th from 4-8pm at The Stone Fox. Tickets are $50 and include food and 2 drink tickets. There will also be a silent auction featuring some great local artists.

The concert will raise funds for Progress and the SmART! Store, and arts reuse store that employs people with disabilities. More details can be found here.

Tonight on the Fringe Radio Show, host E.T. will be talking with members of the band Waterfall Wash.

The group has been described as “a quirky, catchy mesh of folk, gospel and indie rock,” representing “one of the best up and coming live acts in town.” Throughout the show you can expect to hear songs from the group’s debut Foreign Chords EP, which Break on a Cloud noted for its “atmosphere and dynamics.” If you like what you hear and want to see the band live, Waterfall Wash will be performing at The High Watt March 28, or as part of the April 12 Purpose to Pour fundraiser at The Stone Fox. (For those who can’t wait to hear more, the band’s entire six-track release is available for streaming via Bandcamp.)
