Friends of the Fringe at Cold Lunch Records will be holding Party with a Purpose July 4 at the Pavilion East in East Nashville. A Cold Lunch Rock’n’roll Romp and Empowerment Party will feature music from Okey Dokey, Penicillin Baby, Harpooner Chamber Ensemble, The Beech Benders, Twiggs, and O Summer. The marketplace opens at noon, with music at 3, and admission is $10.
Thursday, January 14 Palaver Records will be celebrating their 3rd anniversary of Palaver Thursday shows at foorBAR, fooBAR Too & The East Room. The events will feature the Beech Benders, the Burps, Step Sisters, Yankee Blood, Waterfall Wash, Darnell Boys, Twiggs, Penicillin Baby, Kim Logan, Allen Thompson, Soft Crush, the Blue Velvets, the Gills, Daddy Issues, Red Mouth, the Jag, Tesla Rossa, Tetherball, and the Breathe In, Breathe Out.
