The Basement will be hosting Tesla Rose + repeat repeat + Heavy Sole + the Dirty Things this coming Thursday, October 31. Doors at 8pm, show at 9pm, $8.
Jazz Music City Records and the Nashville Fringe Festival present the Nashville Jazz Orchestra, directed by trumpeter/composer Jim Williamson, along with the Jazz Music City All-Stars (featuring Rahsaan Barber, Imer Santiago, Bruce Dudley and Marcus Finnie). The NJO will be performing a special concert celebrating the release of “It Ain’t Necessarily So,” a dynamic big-band recording of music by the great George Gershwin.

Eric Brace presents “Hangtown Dancehall,” a folk-opera featuring Kelly Willis, Eric Brace, John Wesley Harding, Andrea Zonn, Jon Byrd, Peter Cooper, and more. The show will take place at 3rd & Lindsley Saturday, November 2, 2013. Tickets are $10 (limited reserved seating tickets are available for $20). Doors are at 6pm, and the show begins at 7pm.
