The Tennessee Women’s Theater Project presents “Voices of Nashville” by Christine Mather and Sara Sharpe. This is a free event, taking place November 9 at 3:00pm, at Casa Azafran | 2195 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211.
The Nashville Fringe Festival is proud to help present The East Nash Halloween Bash featuring Gavin Shea, Guthrie Brown, Hide Your Mama & the Canyon Riders. The event will take place Saturday, November 2 at East Centric Pavilion / $15 or $10 with a costume / 3pm – 8pm. ($200 Best Costume Prize; $100 Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest; $100 Halloween Painting Contest.)
The Basement will be hosting Tesla Rose + repeat repeat + Heavy Sole + the Dirty Things this coming Thursday, October 31. Doors at 8pm, show at 9pm, $8.
Jazz Music City Records and the Nashville Fringe Festival present the Nashville Jazz Orchestra, directed by trumpeter/composer Jim Williamson, along with the Jazz Music City All-Stars (featuring Rahsaan Barber, Imer Santiago, Bruce Dudley and Marcus Finnie). The NJO will be performing a special concert celebrating the release of “It Ain’t Necessarily So,” a dynamic big-band recording of music by the great George Gershwin.
Monday, October 28 at 7pm @ 3rd and Lindsley // $15 cover (includes a copy of the NJO’s new CD!)
Bands for the event will begin performing at 4pm, and will include Waterfall Wash, Vinyl Thief, Slick, and Roots of a Rebellion. “Halloween” will hit the big screen at 8pm. Tickets are $5, and the event takes place at 1604 Shelby Avenue, Nashville, TN 37206.
